Having experienced swimming competitively growing up in Canada, Australia, Germany, Scotland, and the United States, Coach Jordan always felt a sense of community in the water. No matter the language or culture, he knew he would always belong at a pool. That ubiquitous love of swimming is what drew Coach Jordan to the deck. Having learned from some of the best coaches and athletes in Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, he brings his enthusiasm for technique and programming, as well as a passion for developing the best possible student athletes, to Boulder Swim Team.
A former Southeastern LSC Zone Team Head Coach, he has helped to develop athletes into state champions, LSC Champions, Age Group Sectional Champions, NCSA / Futures and Junior National Qualifiers and Finalists. He has helped dozens of athletes land on LSC All Star Teams, Zone Championship Teams, Junior National and International team rosters.

Foundations and Prep Coordinator
Coach Skyler grew up in Nashville competing in summer league, high school, and then college club swimming at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He has been coaching for 16 years.
Coach Skyler swam for Amy Caulkins (sister of Tracy Caulkins), and Ashley Whitney (‘96 Olympic Gold medalist). He has coached swimmers of all ages, talent levels, commitment, and ability. Some of his stops along the way include Tennessee Aquatics, Ensworth Aquatics, NAC masters, Nashville Dolphins, and the Southeastern Zone team where he first got to work with Coach Jordan. Most recently, Skyler co-founded a non-profit called Nashville School Swim Club that supports middle and high school swim teams at public schools in the Nashville area.

Dakota Sears
Assistant Coach
Dakota began swimming competitively at the age of 9, but has had a love for water since she was born. She swam for the Longmont Redtails through middle school, then moved to Wisconsin for high school, where she swam for her high school team and city club team for all 4 years. Dakota earned the school record for the 100 breastroke her freshman year, and held the record for all 4 years. She then moved back to Colorado for her undergraduate studies, where she was a part of the swim club for two years. Dakota competed at US Masters Club Nationals in Georgia in several breastroke and IM events her freshman year on CSU's club team. Dakota prides herself on her achievement of swimming every single short course swim event at least once in her swimming career.
Coach Dakota recently graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. Dakota went to CSU for her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise science, and coached with MACS before leaving for her grad studies.
In her free time, Dakota loves reading, going to the movies, listening to Taylor Swift, playing card/board games, and doing yoga.

Matthias Maser
Lead Summer League & HS Prep Coach, Age Group / Junior / Senior Assistant
Matthias grew up in a suburb of Chicago (Oak Park) where he was a competitive swimmer for Team Millennium under Kathy Rigali starting around age 10, as well as for his high school team swimming under Clyde Lundgren. During his swim career Matthias was a breast stroke specialist swimming both the 100 and 200 breast. Matthias is now a Physics/Math/Philosophy student at CU boulder with hopes of attending grad school and getting his PhD in either Physics or Philosophy. Matthias always enjoyed swimming, and starting around 9th grade, wanted to coach/teach swim. This finally came to fruition when he started coaching at BLDR summer of 2024. Along with Swimming Matthias enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, riding his bike and college football.
Corey Murphey
Assistant Coach
Corey grew up swimming in Columbia, Missouri, swimming year round from the age of three through high school. A committed distance swimmer and IMer, Corey considers the 800 IM her best event. Now, Corey swims ultra-marathon (>10km) open water races and channel crossings in her free time. As a coach, Corey leverages her background as a mechanical engineer and distance IMer to teach swimmers of all ages not only how to swim efficiently, but also why.
Corey attended Stanford University for undergraduate and masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering. While at Stanford, she swam and coached for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics (Foothills and Rinconada sites) and served as team manager for the Stanford Varsity Women’s Swim team under Head Coach Lea Maurer. She currently coaches masters swimming for Boulder Aquatic Masters (BAM).
Outside of swimming, Corey is a current Ph.D. student in Computer Science at CU Boulder, studying computational biomechanics. She also enjoys singing in choirs, reading, running, and playing with her four golden retrievers.
